:: The Design Process
1. Interview: Our objective is to understand your goals for your company + to achieve the type of visual impact that you expect for your logo. You will complete a brief questionnaire to facilitate this process.
2. Design Package Selection: Studio H Designs provides 3 design packages from which to choose. Each package includes conceptual thumbnails, schematic design, one round of free revisions + the final design selection. Final images will be sent in jpeg, tiff, or pdf format. If one of these three design packages does not suit your needs, a custom design package can be created. Prices for all custom packages will be based off an hourly rate of $65/hour.
3. Contract: Once the design package has been chosen, a contract will be issued. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at this point. Design work cannot begin until the contract is signed.
4. Conceptual Design: Conceptual thumbnails will be designed + developed based on your initial interview + questionnaire. Once completed, images will be sent electronically. Working within the selected design package, you will be directed to choose a specified number of conceptual thumbnails to proceed with. At this time, you will send comments, suggestions, and/or revisions (style, color, image, etc.) pertaining to each image.
5. Schematic Design: After receiving your comments, we will make changes as necessary. Images will be further designed + developed. Completed images will be sent electronically.
6. Revisions: After you receive the schematic designs, you will have the opportunity to fine-tune your logo. You will be able to request (1) set of changes at no extra charge (color, text, size). All changes after that will be billed by the hour ($50/hour) with a one hour minimum charge. After each round of revisions, images will be sent electronically.
7. Final Image: With all the revisions in place, you make the final choice. Final images will be sent in jpeg, tiff, or pdf format. Images will be burned to a CD if requested. Shipping will be at an additional cost.
